Make a Donation to the CNY Conservancy

Thanks to the generosity of its supporters, the Central New York Conservancy plants thousands of flowers and 30-60 trees every year in Utica’s beautiful Olmsted park and parkway system, and it does all it can to advance the restoration of Utica’s historic parks.

This is extremely costly, and the City of Utica is unable to do more than it currently does: we need your support! We offer a variety of ways to support this work, and you can contribute by way of PayPal or by sending a check to the Conservancy (1641 Genesee Street, Utica, NY 13501).

Become a Friend of the Conservancy

The most basic way to join others in supporting our work is to become a Friend of the Conservancy for a minimum contribution of $35 per year. This will ensure that you are on the mailing list for our newsletter and notifications of events in Utica's Olmsted parks.

Make a One-Time or Annual Gift

Your one-time contribution ensures that Utica's Parks and Parkway System will be beautiful the year round for all to enjoy. When you do so, you will receive recognition for the next year under one of the following categories:

  • Sustainer: $100
  • Restorer: $250
  • Landscaper: $500
  • Conservator: $750
  • Garden Protector: $1,000
  • Supporting Sponsor: $2,500
  • Primary Patron: $5,000

Endow Trees, Shrubs, Flowers or Plantings

You can also show your support by having a tree planted in either the Memorial Grove adjacent to F.T. Proctor Park or elsewhere in Utica's Olmsted park and parkway system—and you would be welcome to do so in memory or honor of a friend or relative. Please contact our Interim Executive Director, Natalie Brown, for more information: central.ny.conservancy@uticaolmstedparks.org

Sponsor a Monument

There are 14 monuments on the Parkway, and the Conservancy offers the opportunity for you to be given public recognition as the sponsor of one of those monuments. If you are interested in the possibility of becoming an annual monument sponsor, please email our Interim Executive Director, Natalie Brown at central.ny.conservancy@uticaolmstedparks.org
